Rascals Movie Synopsis


Produced by Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Ahluwalia, Rascals is an action comedy drama that is released on October 6, 2011 under the banner of Eros Entertainment. The movie is directed by David Dhawan, a popular Bollywood director known for directing various comedy films, and includes some popular faces like Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Arjun Rampal and Kangna Ranaut. The screenplay and cinematography are penned by Yunus Sajawal and Vikas Sivaraman respectively.

The starting scene of the film focuses on two con artists Chetan Chauhan (Sanjay Dutt) and Bhagat Bhosle (Ajay Devgan). They earned excellence in making fool of the people and recently robbed a persona named Anthony Gonsalves (Arjun Rampal). Such activity is only source of their income and the enjoy doing this. They dramatically meet each other on a flight to Bangkok where they try to rob each other.  

After robbing each other, it is Chetan, who accomplished their job successfully as he eventually got highly expensive watch and cash from Bhagat’s pocket. On the other hand, Bhagat only snatches the fake money and fake credit cards from Chetan’s pocket. The incident makes them a big enemy of each other. Now, they both are staunch enemy of each other.

As the story moves ahead they confronted each other and keep their eye on a beautiful lady named Khushi (Kangna Ranaut). Finally Chetan introduce himself with her as a donor, who is only concerned to help the needy and he enjoys doing this. On the contrary, Bhagat comes in front of her as a blind man and acts as being a helpless person. He also introduces himself as a Navy officer who met with a major accident and lost his eyes. Now, they both try to trap the girl and the real drama starts from this point.

Rascal includes wonderful music, composed by the two well known musicians Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal-Shekhar. In addition, the film includes some popular sound tracks such as Parda Nasheen, Shake It Saiyyan, Tik Tuk, Rascals, and more. Such sound tracks are quite popular these days.
